Billy Chrissochos and Chris Pollatos of Phoenix Reign along with Peter Giakoumis, director of their Constantinople 1453 music video, will be marching in full Medieval/Byzantine Greek regalia with living history re-enactors and actors from their music video for the Greek Independence Parade, which will be televised on Channel 9 between 1-4. They will be marching in the beginning of the parade and Phoenix Reign will be announced.
The Byzantine Regiment is a living history group that brings to life the pageantry of the Greek Medieval era of the 10th to 15th centuries. The group was created as a result of the research on the epic music video “Constantinople 1453 –On The Eve Of The Fall”, of the metal band Phoenix Reign. www.blacktuesday1453.com
The sister organization, "The Greek Warriors of Greater NY, the Re Enactment Group that promotes the study of Ancient Greek Military History will be marching before us also (also in 1453 video) .
